Chef King · live at a backyard show

The show

This is the part your guests film.

Live fire, spatula work, and the sake toast — Chef King cooks the whole meal in front of your guests and performs while he does it. Southern soul, Cajun technique.

How it works

Three steps between you and the date.

01

Tell us your date

Date, guest count, occasion — the form takes about two minutes.

02

We plan it with you

A planning call, then an itemized quote — every add-on is its own line, so you see exactly what you're paying for.

03

A deposit holds your date

$200 for most events, credited to your total. Details lock 7 days out.

What every booking includes

The stuff you'd expect to pay extra for.

  • A planning call before your event
  • Setup and breakdown, inside the quoted window
  • Leftovers packed and labeled
  • Your kitchen left cleaner than we found it

We don't bring tables, chairs, or décor — you set the scene, we bring the food and the show. One exception: Hibachi Date Night comes with the full table setup.

Our guarantee

Hot, on time, and we leave your space cleaner than we found it — or that part's on us.

We guarantee what we control. Every quote is itemized, so you know what you're getting before you pay a dollar.

The food was absolutely delicious, flavorful, prepared as we desired! The cooking process was engaging, fun, creative and the staff was attentive, very friendly and warm. The ambiance was lively and relaxing — perfect for my birthday dinner on the patio! Highly recommended!

Truly exceeded beyond our expectations! Chef Mike did his thing! Food was superb! We will definitely book again! This was way better than the restaurant!

Everyone had such a great time with your entertainment and everything was delicious! You and your crew were very organized — especially dealing with lots of children! Will definitely book you again on the next party… or I should just make one just so we can book you again soon!

We literally had nothing left over — maybe a scoop or two. The biggest hit was the Rasta pasta. It was all delicious. We will definitely be using you more often than normal, so you may get tired of us!

Before you ask

The four questions everyone asks.

How does pricing work?

Hibachi Showcase plates run $40, $50, or $60 a person by protein count, with an $850 event minimum — and over 15 guests, the Crown drops to $55 flat with all three proteins. Private chef experiences start at $750. Brunch runs $30 to $60 a person. Catering is priced from your menu and guest count. Every quote is itemized — each add-on is its own line.

How far do you travel?

Home base is the Inland Empire, and we cover LA and all of Southern California. San Diego, Bakersfield, Las Vegas, and Phoenix are in range too — travel is priced into your quote.

What do I need to provide?

Tables, chairs, and décor are yours — Hibachi Date Night is the exception, setup's included. For the sake toast, you supply the bottle (there's a non-alcoholic option). We bring everything we need to cook.

How do I hold my date?

Send the form, we'll confirm your date is open, and the deposit locks it in. That's the whole process — three steps, up top.

Everything else — travel, weather, allergies, policies — it's all on the info page →
